John Kelly is responsible for steel design, fabrication and erection across Related’s portfolio of projects. Mr. Kelly led the design, fabrication and erection of the structural steel for Hudson Yards, with over $1.2 billion of steel work put in place from 2015 through 2021. This included 30 Hudson Yards, a 2.6M square feet office building standing 1,300 feet tall and made up of over 100,000 tons of structural steel.

Mr. Kelly graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from Trinity College Dublin, and with a Masters of Engineering Degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Mr. Kelly is a licensed Professional Engineer, and a Licensed Master Rigger in the City of New York.
